In honor of Chinese New Year's 2007, the Year of the Pig, here are some fun photos I found off of Google's image search:

This one is my favorite.

This is...kinda scary.
That's AWESOME!I already got my red bag earlier, so I'm happy about that. Tonight I'll just be eating some dumplings (I know, you're supposed to eat other traditional foods on the New Year's though. Just don't have time to make all that stuff myself and I can't cook it that well anyway!), Rice Cake (Nain Gao), sweet rice ball soup, and mochi too.
I hope you all that are celebrating have a great time with family and friends!
Happy Chinese New Year's!

I know...I'm totally on a sports kick, but this really is cool.
Campus Crusade actually printed this ad type thing on the back of USA Today's paper a few days ago. It was really sweet! Here's the advertisement that they printed:

Check out the website at
www.beyondtheultimate.orgIt includes Tony Dungy's and Lovie Smith's testimonies. I think it was super encouraging to know that the two men head to head in the Superbowl were both strong Christians. Praise God! It's really cool to see the recent emergence of major sports figures as people of faith in the sports world.
Oh, and Athletes in Action, a branch of Crusade, sponsored the ad, and they also hosted a pre-superbowl breakfast the morning before for many of the Colts and Bears players to hear the testimony of Tony Dungy and other prominent faith figures.
Again, I love this guy.
I promise this'll be the last entry about sports stuff.
Maybe :)

The Colts reign supreme...
Peyton finally gets a ring so now he can go down in history as one of the greatest Quarterbacks to ever play the game...
And how does Tony Dungy end the game in the locker room? In prayer...this is why I love this guy.
It's really encouraging to see this man carry a faith-filled mantle in the sports world where he now has even more influence than he once did, being ushered into the limelight of the news.

The Colts had quite a welcome home by the city when they landed in Indianapolis. Apparently, people lined up outside of the RCA Dome as early as 2:30p.m. to wait for their arrival at 6:30p.m. for a citywide celebration of their victory-in 20 below weather!
It's quite exciting in the city and I'm proud to be a part of it.
Well, I guess I should be proud to be living in the Midwest right now :)

This is a really encouraging article about Coach Dungy (of the Indianapolis Colts) and the faith that he has.
It's been really cool to see him using his publicity to speak about his faith rather than himself. It's also been really encouraging to see how he handle the whole thing with the death of his son just last year.
Check him out on ABS News.com:

Site of the famous gunfight between the Earps, Doc Holliday and the McLaury's way back on October 26, 1881. Yes, it's the actual town where all the stuff really happened like in the movie
Tombstone!
Chasing Elvis is in Arizona and we're staying at a Hospitality House for the weekend. I can't believe tomorrow is the Superbowl already! GO COLTS!
We'll be playing for a Super bowl party of some type for soldiers and youth, I believe right before the game. We've got all our Colts paraphernalia ready, so we're good to go.
We're hoping it'll be a strategic concert to strike up conversations with soldiers since we won't be able to overtly share the gospel from stage. Anyways, here's what I'm waking up to each morning here.

The Lord loves me...Arizona rocks! At least weather wise around this time of year! But it's still chilly at night.
After this weekend we're off to the campus of San Luis Obispo in the Cali-forn-i-a.
Check back soon for more tour updates!
