Last full week
Happy July 4th!
I remembered as a kid lighting all sorts of fireworks on the 4th of July at the park with friends. We used everything from Roman candles to M80's. Let's just say...we were young :)
Tomorrow morning we start our last week of full day rehearsals. CRAZY!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE WE'RE ALREADY IN OUR LAST WEEK OF REHEARSALS!
We still have our band dress rehearsals the following week, but as far as full day rehearsals go, this week is it, and then we hit the road!
Man, do I NEED your prayers!
Please, please pray for me and pray for my team as we come into this new and final full week. Pray for God to continue to do significant life change in the lives of these students and that we, as staff, would continue to be strengthened in Christ's love to be able to pour our and minister to them. I want to love my team well and know I can't really be thinking of that when all I want to do is sleep some more. So please pray for me to get the proper rest I need.

This weekend was FANTASTIC in terms of playing "catch up" with just normal, everday life things I need to attend to.
I vacuumed my room (BIG deal considering I haven't done since I've moved in!), rearranged my furniture a bit, did like three loads of laundry (and folded all of them too!), and sorted through my mail and bills.
!!!!! I know! Complete shocker. I couldn't believe it either! Praise God for helping me to buckle down and fight off the temptation of just running off to play some more. I socialize too much at the expense of doing the things I really need to get done. Thanks God for helping me to keep boundaries with myself. That's been a huge praise in my life. Wow...very cool. Makes me feel good :)

Pray for blue sky nine's coffeehouse this Friday night at 7p.m.! We haven't rehearsed our set in about a month and a half, so we need all the help we can get! We'll have a rehearsal Thursday night for about two hours, but that's about it! We're a bit rusty, so I'm just praying we can clear the cobwebs and be able to click together again like we didn't skip a beat. That would be GRRRRRREAT.
