Class picture-All staff at Winter NST '04

by Christopher Wu

Of course, the whole Winter NST '04 staff team at the Crusade headquarters in Orlando! What a good looking bunch. :) I was humbled to meet so many amazing people in the Lord. God has truly blessed me with an amazing spiritual family. Ever since my initial contact with Keynote, I've felt very well taken care of and know that God is going to continue to take care of me in amazing ways. Praise God.
Many of these new staff will be all across the U.S. as well as going overseas to China, North Africa, Serbia, Italy, England, and other nations. It's awesome to know how much these brothers and sisters have sacrificed to follow God, especially those that are leaving behind family, friends and familiarity to places far away. Praise the Lord for these warriors of God. I am not worthy to be among them and am humbled to be among spiritual giants. They rock!

Divine appointment

by Christopher Wu

This is me and my new found good friend, Dr. Paul Sorrentino. Talk about divine appointment! I met Paul at an open mic cafe down in Daytona Beach the week before I was supposed to leave staff training and head home. As I'm talking to him, it ends up he used to be a missionary to Trinidad for four years. I asked if I could share with him my ministry, he said yes and so we ended up hanging out at a karoke bar a few days later. He shared with me his life, his struggles, and we ended up praying for each other and encouraging one another as well.

Paul was excited to hear about my vision and calling with Keynote and decided to support me monthly! Furthermore, he tells me,

"You know, Chris, I've been praying for 3 or 4 months about someone to give to. God put a burden on my heart that I needed to give, but I said, 'who, Lord, who??' And now you come along and you're that guy that I've been praying for."

HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD! Can anyone say "Amen?!" The ridiculousness of God is unfathomable! Paul furthermore affirmed me that God has a special calling on my life, otherwise why was I sitting there with him, instead of 104 other staff? Not that I was any better than any of them, but God just intended for us to meet, not by human dealings, but by His divine hand. Who said God isn't a God of miracles anymore? Divine appointment I tell you...

Leaving that night, God affirmed in my heart that this was the direction He had set out for me in joining Keynote with Campus Crusade. Through the experience, God was saying to me,

"Chris, I'm going to put people into your path that you've had NO IDEA about. There will be people that you have no affiliation with and I'm just going to bring them into your life."

Praise Him. He's beyond our finite minds and small faith. Help us to believe, Lord.

Mike Jones and Joseph Chau

by Christopher Wu

Mike Jones is a true cowboy from New Mexico whom is also joining staff with Keynote! woohoo! He's a sound tech/bassist guy who toured with a group called The Continentals for a while. Great brother who was my roomie. I'm looking forward to more times together with him and hanging out! Pray for him to raise his support quickly as well!

Mr. Joseph Chau was my only other true asian brotha at NST!!! And he's from New York too! woohoo! He's married to Jenny Chau and they have a LOVELY daughter who is soooo cute. They'll be based in Boston as campus staff. Great place to be staff. You can't swing a bat without hitting a college in Boston! Pray for them too as they raise their support!

Balcony view

by Christopher Wu

This is where my journey at NST begins! We were at the El Caribe for about five weeks down in Daytona Beach and had an AMAZING time. One word to describe my training is 'equipped.'
I just feel so well equipped to be able to face just about anything that's out there during my time of raising support. So, this is the view of the beach from my balcony. We were literally right on the beach! sweet! I just took that small little winding path on the right of the picture, and that lead straight down to the beach. I know, I know...I'm trying not to make you all jealous :)
