In ATL

Friday, December 22, 2006 by Christopher Wu

Landed in Atlanta a few hours ago and now I'm just relaxing in my dad's apartment off of Marietta St. in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Man, it's way different here than Indy. It's a really cool place! Again, a heck of a lot more diverse and one of my dad's friends, who's like an auntie to me now, just made me some AWESOME dinner!!!!

She made three different kinds of dumplings, bought some duck from Chinatown, and made us a sort of pork soup. GOSH, it was AMAZING!!!! Goodness how I miss Chinese food. It was so refreshing to some authentic Chinese home cooking. Mmmmm...I miss it.

Anyways, my friend sent me a fun link to a Christmas animation. It's so cheesy but I cracked up really hard at the end. I think it's hilarious.

Hope you're having fun wherever you are! And have a blessed holiday!

podcast

I forgot to mention in my Thanksgiving break update to check out Jimmy FauntLeRoy's podcast and website!

Jimmy is the lead singer/songwriter for Chasing Elvis, who is wicked talented. You should definitely check out his stuff! Yes, you can finally sample a bunch of music from the group I'm with!

www.littlelordmusic.com

And for his podcast, if you have iTunes, you can open up iTunes, log into the iTunes network, punch in his name in the search box, and a bunch of his free podcasts will come up that you can download and watch!

I highly recommend listening to his song, "Before the World Was Made", which is based on a poem that was quoted in John Eldredge's book, "Waking the Dead". I love the lyrics. It's a great song.

Enjoy!

A friend just sent this link to me.

Bristol- Myers is donating a dollar to AIDS research every time someone goes to the web site below and moves the match to the candle and lights it. Please forward this to your friends to spread. It takes a few seconds to raise a dollar.

As of 5 am EST, this site has had a quarter million hits. Keep it going and spread the word.
